  • The Principality of Northern Lights holds our Crown Tourney, Elections, and Althing will be held August 24th in Shrouding Mist's normal fighting field. Coronation will be held the weekend following Pac War at Greenwood Keep's normal fighting field. Also, anyone not passing quals that would like to continue to run may do so with a majority vote at the Althing.

  • This Saturday, August 23rd, is Sheriff Baku Panurple's of U-topus Crokett, TX Mid-reign at 4-mile park (weather permitting). 3:30 p.m. or whenever the competators arrive: Champions Tournament between Alzane Panurple and Dark our current Champion About 4ish or when ever the tournament is over we will start preperations for the battlegame themed "U-topus goes to Hades"

  • The Kingdom of Blackspire will be holding their Kingdom Elections, Champions Tourney, Guildmaster Elections, and Althing this Saturday August 16th at The One Park (Creston Park, 44th & Powell in Portland, OR) starting at 12 Noon. As there is an item on the Althing docate that may change how the Champions Tourney is held, we will take care of the Althing first and we will start this at 1:00 PM.

  • His Grace, Duke Murdoc of the Astral Winds, the officers and the populace have agreed to combine Coronation with Grand Academy this year. This event is scheduled to occur Thursday, August 14th through Sunday, August 17th. And will include several Knights and Master Craftspeople from out of state! Please mark you calendars.
  • August 16th, Westmarch is invading... ITSELF. The core lands are coming to Crimson Sanctum to crack heads, slay newbs, and have a rollicking good time. Siar Geata will come to aid their red-hued neighbors. More details here.

  • Emerald Hills is now Accepting Declarations for Kingdom Prime Minister. Declarations will close at midnight on the 22nd.
  • Soul's Crossing will be meeting at their regular Audubon Park at 1:00 Sunday the 17th. Their 4 weekend trial at overton park did not go as well as hoped. For two of those weekends, it rained. The other two days it was just really hot. They may try again when the weather is nicer.
  • Arimas Clu will hold a garbing class on August 16th at Mouningwood Glen

  • Rivermoor also has a new website.
  • On Saturday August 16 at Querna Tema 12:00 p.m. the fun and wacky quest the for Sword of the Flame will commence. I wish for all participants to come as their favorite characters from any of the 3 Shrek movies and if so wish to donate the costumes to the monster guild. There will be an A&S compeition for the best Shrek inspired costumes run by Regent Argile with prizes. There will be a water feature in the quest so anyone who does not want to get wet will have the ability to step out at the point.

  • August 14th Harrowing Citadel will hold a thursday night quest at O'Brian Park, It's about 5 minutes off the bypass. Take the Ironwood Exit to get off the bypass, turn left onto Ireland Road, turn right at the Marathon onto Michigan street, past the Culvers BAM! O'Brian park. There is a gazebo, a water play thingy, a built in grill, some open grass, and some thick woods.
  • On August 10th Land's End invaded Nifilheim with a total turnout of 16. Several great battlegames took place including a fun chaos gift game.
  • Aug 14 - 17 Fan Faire Five banners will be in attendance.
  • Aug 15-17 Storm Grove holds their Sumer Fest
  • Aug 17th Althing for Bandit Flats East
  • Aug 16th Final Day of Veles Harbour's Amtgard Academy

  • Mirrim of IM has set up a bank account to accept donations to replace lost equipment, and gate funds that were washed away at Clan.

Celestial Kingdom

  • Kingdom Midreign is held at Fireman's Park in Giddings, Texas.
  • Explores the notion of only allowing active dues paid knights to vote via Althing. 4.5.2.1 Any Knight may attend a CoK meeting. However, only those Knights who are Active Contributing Members of the Kingdom are allowed to vote on Knighthood candidates.

Crystal Groves

  • Has changed the permissions on their list, now only moderators can post there. The goal is to get more people to use the forums for communication, which can be found at http://cgforum.amtgardeast.com/index.php

Desert Winds

  • Mathias is having the scroll announcing DW's Kingdom hood reproduced via high quality scan. Several copies have been requested.
  • Declarations for Kingdom Prime Minister are due by Friday August 22nd. Sunflower and Loptr have declared for Prime Minister.
  • Desert Winds calls for Award recommendations for their upcoming first coronation.
  • A new park is being formed in Billings, Montana by Loup and some locals. They are thinking of calling the place 'Northern Crest'.

  • Via Athing, GP has removed the contract of one of their sub groups, Shining Dogs so that they can rebuild.

Goldenvale

  • Start saving your pennies because you read that right. Sir Sanchez, GV Sword Knight, Co-Captian of FRAT, Scourge of the Ditch Field, Stabber of Kidneys (that was a joke....) has offered to auction to someone the oppurtunity to tar and feather him (with GV approved materials, we want him humiliated not dead). Just imagine the glory, the pictures, the You Tube videos all can be yours at this years Fury of the Northlands!

  • Five Banners will hold an althing this sunday after park practice.
  • It is my pleasure to announce to you that Centerpoint's third Mid-Reign will be held this Saturday, August 9th. It will be held at our new location in Shawnee Mission Park.
  • Aug 8-10 The Rune Quest 3, a weekend-long quest and camping event, is held by Crimson Circle at Circle "R" Campground south of Oshkosh, WI.
  • Nifilheim is discovered in Warroad, Minnesota.

  • Kingdom Quals was originally scheduled in Blackwood Grove on Sunday the 3rd of August. Since BWG is meeting as part of the One Park in Portland, Quals will be moved up to Saturday the 2nd at Creston Park (44th Ave. and Powell Blvd. in Portland, OR). Sign ups for Quals will begin at 12:00 noon and close at 2:00 PM to allow judging to begin. We will also be holding our War Master tournament at this time.
  • Kubla Khan has declared intent to run for Monarch of Inland Ocean.
  • Tseng has declared for Monarch of Blackspire. Aristiri has declared for regent.

Burning Lands

*Recovers from the Evactuation of the Clans:2008, some members of the Burning Lands were the hardest hit by the flash flooding Vindall loosing all his garb and equipment to an impromptu rafting trip on his air mattress. Verana and Kurse also were trapped in their tent, and had to cut and bite their way out.

  • Crystal Groves holds their monthly althing and Officers Meeting this saturday.

  • Celebrates it's first weekend after the positive vote of CoM Their first coronation, of King Mathias, will occur at the end of the month at Dragon blade wars later this month.

Freeholds

  • August 1-3 (Fri-Sun) North Haven presents Gathering of Shadows XI Kirkland, IL will include 5 meals, camping fees, and some of the most awesome questing and battlegames in all of Amtgard. Occurring at McQueen Forest Preserve in Kirkland, IL. Cost is 20$ for the weekend.
  • Aug 1-3 The Freehold of Five Banners is performing demonstrations, taking part in boffer panel discussions, and running a fighting pit at DefCon (a SF/Fantasy convention in Tulsa).

Other Games

  • August 1-3 Combined Realms War or CRW will be held August 1-3 at the Burnett County Fairgrounds. Site and Feast fee = $24. Crew is the HFS equivalent to Clan.

  • There is a new campaign to fundraise for rebuilding the castle and storing it over the months it is unused.

Neverwinter

Rising Winds

  • Heartwynd and Bighead have both declared for the office of monarch in the upcoming Elections for Western Gate. Declarations officially begin on September 7th and run until their Crown Quals on September 21st. Voting will begin at Midnight on that day and end on October 5th and our Coronation is scheduled for the weekend of October 19th due to Archon and Banner Wars
  • The Althing brought by the populous of Thundering Rivers to remove their Baron Lucian Firethought from office failed by one vote. The disagreement has caused a park split.
  • July 25 to 27 Western Gate's Birthday Bash
  • Gryphon's Perch will hold 'Unclan'.

Wetlands

  • Stormwall will hold a 'Pirate Revel' for all those not traveling to clan.

  • Clan almost upon us; remember to pack jugs for water, there will be no potable water on site, but there is some near site. Also don't forget; camp chairs, shade, food, and money.

  • July 19th Crystal Groves will hold the monthly Althing, followed by the monthly officers meeting.

Dragonspine

  • Land Audits for Dragonspine are due August 15th. Among other things a chapter above shire must submit; Copies of bank statements, lists of current officers, list of dues paid members, results of the most recent crown quals, and copies of signings for the last six months. Furthermore, all groups must meet minimum attendance requirements equal to 60% of the numbers they needed to become their current size. This works out to 24 for Principalities, 18 for Duchies, 9 for Baronies, and 3 for Shires.

  • A kingdom Althing will be held on the 19th.
  • In Smithfield, Virginia Sea of Rhye holds their coronation on July 19.
  • July 19th Bitter Coast, Kingdom of Goldenvale holds it's Midreign and Friends and Family Fun Day, a celebration of the friends and families that support us and our game.

Iron Mountains

  • On July 19th The Principality of Steel Valley decided by althing vote to make their official name the Principality of Olympus. Prince Skrag has set a very aggresive timeline for the corpora committee, which will have their first meeting at Olympus Principality Coronation on August 8th-10th in Lacrosse, WI.

  • Winter's Edge Qualifications will be held at Shadow Forge on the 20th.
  • July 19th Neverwinter Coronation, a one day event will be held at Saladino Park, in Brandon, Florida. Games start at 11:00 cost is 10 dollars.
  • Azure Coast joins Neverwinter.

  • July 18th-20th Sage's North Fest, Mists of the Dawn's event held in Minnesota. We are hoping to get more then 100 people out at the event. frostlands, crimson circle, and north haven I am expecting to get 90% of your populace out there. if transportation is an issue let us know ahead of time cause we might be able to rent some vans or buses for groups big enough that wouldn't mind throwing in some extra money. This will be an RSVP only event.

Revel King Swords are discovered. Foam Fighting for the masses. There is a discussion on Esam about how this will affect Amtgard.

  • Preparations continue for Clan. Brennon and Megiddo have promised blow through doors, a batter ram and bulidings to batter into.

  • The Monarchy of the Emerald hills has release cryptic plans to invade their Oklahoma chapters on the 'weekend of the full moon'.

Celestial Kingdom

  • This weekend was the election for Slaughter Creek's Regent. Visitors from Griffion's Keep and Fallen Sun pushed attendance to over one hundred.
  • Pics From last weekends 4th of July Parade.
  • HFS has invited Amtgard in the persons of the CK populous to join them at Castleton the property owned by Richard Garriot for a demo for Game designers.
  • Kingdom PM intents are due by midnight, Sunday July 20th. Please either email Crinos your intent or post it to the CK forums. So far, the only person putting in an intent is Sylvanista.

  • High Oasis welcomes a visitor from Goldenvale; Sir Armen the Tall on July 12th. Pollux will be holding a BBQ in his guest's honor.

  • Grix, and Euric have declared for Prince of Westmarch. Gwendair and Thistledown have declared for Regent. Laoric has declared for GMR.
  • Declarations for Office begin in the Fairbanks, Alaska chapter Astral Winds.
  • July 12th Dragonspine holds their Kingdom Midreign.The feast will be your choice of Guinness Roast beef, smoked pork cutlet, and smoked peppered turkey breast for the entree. The vegetable choices will be gilled marinated asparagus, seasoned steamed corn on the cob, vegetable medley. the starch choices are sour cream and garlic mashed potatoes. The desert will be cheesecake with a garnish of a cream cheese strawberry. On the 12th we will also be hosting a weapon master, an archery tournament and a "People's Choice" dragonmaster tourney. The cost to get into the feast is $5.00, and the doors open at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
  • Eternal Coast is looking into new Heraldry. A combination of the old Silver Sun and Feanga symbols.

The Kingdom of the Rising Winds

  • Tusocks, Kathrynn, and Thorvald, have declared for Monarch. Grumish and has thrown his hat in for Regent. Dart is so far the only candidate for Champion.
  • Battle Cry and Quals for the Rising Winds are both being held on the same weekend, do to a certain inflexibility of their Corpora and King.
  • July 9th is the beginning of 'Life Fest' so the Frostlands will not have access to their usual Park that weekend. However Crimson Circle is putting together a bus trip to the Bristol RenFair and have invited them to come along.
  • July 13 Color Day at Western Gate: Theme is Roman Days - Regent Silverleaf is asking for volunteers to sign up to be reeves, monsters, roleplaying monsters, npcs and other exciting roles. Remember, this is a show off day, for friends and family who otherwise don't see Amtgard. $5.00 feast will be provided.

  • Shouding Mist will hold a camp out at Kopachuck State Park-Group Camp Grounds. July 11-13. Cost for this event is 15$.

  • The Kingdom of Kalladen Mid-Reign and Weapons Master Tourney will be held on Sunday, July 13th. It will be a one day event at Lover’s Leap in Cameron Park, and we will also be serving a potluck lunch, which means we have no idea what will be served except for hamburgers. Kalladen was once a chapter of the Emerald Hills called the Boarderlands.

  • Allthing agenda items due to the Kingdom Prime Minister Sylvanista in the Celestial Kingdom on Saturday the 6th.
  • On the fourth of July the Celestial Kingdom Monarchy will walk in the Round Rock frontier days parade. Participants need to be in line by 9 a.m. (8am if you want to be included in the parade contest.) The parade will start in Round Rock at First Texas Bank (corner of Lee Street and Round Rock Ave) and will proceed through Historic Downtown Round Rock ending at the Sam Bass Little League Baseball Fields.

  • July 5th - 6th Kingdom Elections for Neverwinter. The candidates for monarch are Sir Auwyne and Squire Squire. Votes to be submitted to the KPM Nocturne by no later than July 7th at midnight. Voteing results were released on Tuesday. Squire Squire Was elected the new Monarch.
  • Neverwinter, although a Floating Crown, is also looking for a new Kingdom Seat.

  • Thundering Rivers in Elkhart, Indiana, King Clyde has called an emergency Kingdom Allthing to be held July 6th at Woodlawn Naturn Center 604 Woodlawn Ave Elkhart, IN 46514. In reguards to the former Prime Minister stabbing a park member with an ink pen and the Baron took no action. All are welcome to attend as it is an open meeting.
  • Freeman's Forest in Huber Heights, Ohio will hold their Weaponmaster and Midreign on Saturday.
  • July 6th Voting for officers of Western Gate in St Louis, Missouri ends at midnight.
  • Springfield, Missouri chapter Knoblands will hold a feast on July 6. Succulent roasted fowls will be provided, vie one with with the other for the vacated post of champion in a tourney, and bring forth thine treasures created for judging.
  • July 6th Gryphon's Perch will hold their Weaponmaster/ Dragon Master
