Kingdom Boundaries Proposal

The united Kingdoms of Amtgard, speaking with the voice and leadership of the Circle of Monarchs, believing that the growth of Amtgard is advanced through the responsible government of the various kingdoms, and seeking to encourage that growth with communication, high standards, and mindfulness of the future unity of Amtgard, do hereby endorse and ratify these guidelines regarding the sponsorship rights of kingdoms.

I. Each kingdom shall have the right to sponsor any contracted chapter that is within the same state and within 75 miles of their kingdom seat. This region shall be considered the kingdom's sovereign lands.

II. Each kingdom shall have the right to sponsor any contracted chapter outside their sovereign lands provided that the chapter is not close to another kingdom.

III. A chapter is considered to be close to the kingdom that has the nearest kingdom seat, the kingdom that has the nearest kingdom chapter, and the kingdom with the nearest kingdom seat in the same state as the chapter.

IV. A chapter that is more than 500 miles from the nearest kingdom chapter is considered to be close to no kingdom.

V. If the criteria set forth here result in a chapter being close to multiple kingdoms, any kingdom wishing to sponsor the chapter must obtain permission from those kingdoms.

VI. Contracted chapters sponsored by kingdoms at the time of this agreement retain their sponsorship, but are subject to the terms of this agreement if they seek to change sponsorship.

VII. The Circle of Monarchs shall have authority to hear and resolve all issues related to this agreement.

• Results for the Rakis Best of the Best Tourney are released. Keluric, a recently minted Dragonspine Knight of the Serpent took First place with his leather armor which also scored well in this year's Olympiad. Azreal of Falling Fire, Neverwinter took second place with a House Vertias Banner, and Menwy of Darkmoon, Iron Mountains with a court dress.
• Gehenna Plains in Sioux City, Iowa will hold their Coronation and Defender Tourney.

Kingdom of Dragonspine

• High Oasis welcomes a visitor form Golden Plains; Sir Armen the Tall. Poloox will be holding a BBQ in his guest's honor.

Kingdom of Goldenvale

• Voting had restarted for the name and Heraldry of the proposed conglomeration of chapters containing; Bitter Coast, Sea of Rhye, Black Flame, and Velles Harbour. Each group will com up with a name separately and put i up for a conglomeration wide vote. It is hoped that the resultant group will be come a grand duchy.
• June 29th all written entries must be submitted for shire Qualifications in Twin Moons.
• June 27th - June 29 The Underdark I presented by the Sea of Rhye Nike-Carrollton Park, Smithfield VA. A Role play event based on 2 teams, The Drow and The Sea of Rhye. The Drow are invading the Sea of Rhye with mysterious unknown purpose. Still, their conquest is relentless and it seems nothing can stop their forces.

Kingdom of the Wetlands

• The Roleplay in the wetlands continues, forces for and against the 'church of the wetlands' continue to battle on the mailing list in words.
• Last weekend Denah received her knighthood in the order of the flame at the apollo co Demo.

Kingdom of Neverwinter

• Mystic Glade is postponing their mover to Victor Ashe park, waiting to pick up a few more new folk for the metro pulse article.
• June 28th Neverwinter Kingdom Quals. at Saladino Park in Brandon, FL Quals will begin at 11:00am. All items must be entered no later than 12:00pm. The Champion tourney will begin at 12:30pm. Candidates so far are Sir Auwyne and Squire Squire for Monarch; Havoc is running unopposed for Regent; Sir Stinkfoot, Desybal, Xina have entered the field for Champion.

Kingdom of the Rising Winds

• An attempt was made at rising Winds Mid to remove Mercury from office via Allthing. The attempt failed.
• Results of the Masters Tourney for Madoc's Keep are released. Elona is the new Dragonmaster, Asche the new Weaponmaster, Sakana is stepping up as Champion, Paint is taking over Prime Minister.
• The Rising Winds passed a new Corpora change at last weeks midreign. Change II E 4 a to read a. Should the Prime Minister miss more than six weeks in a row or ten weeks total during their reign, or fail to enter credits into the ORK for 4 consecutive weeks, he/she shall descend from office. Motion passed
• June 29: Phoenix Tears Midreign. Western Gate plans to caravan to this event.
• June 26: Thursday night, Town Hall for Western Gate Meeting at 7pm at Cici's Pizza, WG also topped the ORK reports this week, being the best attended chapter reporting in the nation with 50 sign ins, not counting visitors.
• Frostlands invades North Haven.

Kingdom of Blackspire

• Last Weekend the Duchy of Shrouding Mist held a Toys for Tots Tourney along with some other fund raisers. Between the car wash, the tourney, the raffle, and the food sales they raised $280.00 and 45 toys. The top three finishers in order were; Dogboy, Sir Shortround, and Cheech.

• July 2 Allthing agenda items due to the Kingdom Prime Minister in the Celestial Kingdom.
• July 4th - 6th Blood games A New England LARP Gathering and Competition at Ye Olde Commons.
• July 4th The Celestial Kingdom Monarchy will walk in the Round Rock frontier days parade. Participants need to be in line by 9 a.m. (8am if you want to be included in the parade contest.) The parade will start in Round Rock at First Texas Bank (corner of Lee Street and Round Rock Ave) and will proceed through Historic Downtown Round Rock ending at the Sam Bass Little League Baseball Fields.
• July 5th Truevale will hold their local Dragonmaster competition.
• July 5th; Second Annual Bardic Bash will be held in the Wetlands. (Location?)
• July 5th Sea of Rhye Crown Qualifications
• July 5th (Sat) - Dragon's Forge - Battlegame Day and Kingdom Althing.

• July 9th is the beginning of 'Life Fest' so the Frostlands will not have access to their usual Park that weekend. However Crimson Circle is putting together a bus trip to the Bristol RenFair and have invited them to come along.
• Falcon Tor will be holding their Mid-Reign on July 12 in Auxvusse, Missouri. If anyone needs crash space will be available. Weapon master and Dragon Master will also be held.

• July 13th NO QUARTER – the Coronation of the King of Crystal Groves and the Baron of Solstice at Wilson Ruritan Club Huyett, Md Doors open at 12:00 Lunch offered by the Freehold of Outlaw Point. Angela Mastersinger will be knighted at this event.
• July 13 Color Day at Western Gate: Theme is Roman Days - Regent Silverleaf is asking for volunteers to sign up to be reeves, monsters, roleplaying monsters, npcs and other exciting roles. Remember, this is a show off day, for friends and family who otherwise don't see Amtgard. $5.00 feast will be provided.
• June 18th-20th Sage's North Fest, Mists of the Dawn's event held in Minnesota. we are hoping to get more then 100 people out at the event. frostlands, crimson circle, and north haven I am expecting to get 90% of your populace out there. if transportation is an issue let us know ahead of time cause we might be able to rent some vans or buses for groups big enough that wouldn't mind throwing in some extra money. This will be an RSVP only event.

• August 1-3 (Fri-Sun) North Haven presents Gathering of Shadows XI Kirkland, IL will include 5 meals, camping fees, and some of the most awesome questing and battlegames in all of Amtgard. Occurring at McQueen Forest Preserve in Kirkland, IL. Cost is 20$ for the weekend.
