Lady Squire Awendela Yilane, of Wolfheim of the Principality of Polaris in the Kingdom of the Rising Winds

Biography

Awendela started playing Amtgard in 2013 when her husband Queball returned to the Amtgard scene. She jumped right in to playing Healer, making various arts and crafts for tournaments and trying to get involved in every aspect of the game.

She ran her first term as Prime Minister of Wolfheim and fell in love with the service aspect of the game. In addition to cleaning up the ORK and revising Amtwiki with Tyedye and the Amtwiki Update crew, she participating in the Amtgard Prestige Class Review committee, ran the Wolfheim Meetup group, and posted regular updates and photos on the Wolfheim Facebook page.

On July 20th 2014, Awendela was elected to Prime Minister of the Principality of Polaris. She dove right in to fixing up the ORK and looks forward to working closely with the local PM's and the people of Polaris.

She continued to contribute to Polaris and the Rising Winds through service. She ran a first aid class, served as Gateocrat at GAC in summer 2014, and organized/assisted numerous feasts. She was in charge of the Friday lunch meal at Keep on the Borderlands 2014 and assisted her company in the main feast. Her next project is Rising Winds endreign Friday feast.
