After years of oppression, ridicule, and harassment from 'The Man' it is time to strike back. It is time for the Ninja to rise up against the establishment. And to help encourage that sort of thing I will provide a free flight to Clan (up to $400) for the person to capture Emperor Zumaticus PuppikickerusToDeathus in the most embarassing and/or compromising position while they are dressed as a Ninja.

All captures must be photographed and posted on the web in all their glory to be considered eligible. All captures must happen at Rakis BEFORE Zumat steps down as emperor of the Iron Mountains. Furthermore, Zumat is not eligible for the prize, and staged pictures with a tame Zumat are likewise ineligible.

Extra scoring points will be awarded for Ninjas tea-bagging Zumat, administering a wedgie, or capturing him during extremely public situations.

Finally, Zumat is an endangered species, so please don't kill the Zumat. He is one of the few remaining on earth, and the chances of him succesfully reproducing are almost nil.

The contest will end one week after Rakis is over, at which point I will choose from amongst the entrants and distribute the prize to them. -Brennon

  • Kingdom Quest will be held at Nocturnis in Cedar Park. TX. The theme is 'the Princess bride', expect to seen lots of costumes and side quests. Alara will be playing buttercup, and Arthon will fill the shoes of Wesley.

  • Will release a newsletter containg articles from out going and incoming officers.

Emerald Hills

  • Don't forget the next Althing will be held May 16th and May 17th. The location has changed for Saturday's portion. It now will be held at Midnight Sun. I've spoken with the Sheriff of MWG and he has told me that they had a scheduling conflict with that day and he asked me to change it. The Sunday portion will be held at King's Point. Submissions for the Althing will be taken up to May 3rd.

Rising Winds

  • Discord Presents: "Tortuga". Sherwood Forest Paintball, LaPorte, IN will be held the 25th to 27th. Fight in a 3 story castle! Walk the streets of a pirate city! The date for this event was changed due to a conflict with the site.
  • Rising Winders continue to discuss how to make their knights on the RW List. Current options under consideration include passing an althing vote, or a popular vote of the populace.

Wetlands

  • At Ironwood in Conroe, Texas on the 27th there will be a Monster garb tourney. The winner will recieve... a quest written for that monster. (I encourage people to make garb even if they don't want to play a monster in a quest, we can find someone to play it.) We'll also be having a normal A&S tourney.

  • "To who so ever cares to attend, the weekend following Discord, May 3rd, at Cursed Prarie I will be setting up a storytelling event for A&S. We will put several topics, personas, scenarios, ect., into a box and then each person will take turns drawing out several slips, and making up astory on the spot using what they have drawn. The stories will be uninterrupted, so you may take the story line anyway you would like as long as you use what you have drawn properly in the story itself. This will allow you to use your imagination and storytelling ability in a spur of the moment situation.   • Saturday May 3rd at the home of Dame Fionna and Syr Sanchez we will be having an A&S Potluck dinner, so bring food, bring your projects, bring any entries for Dragonmaster you may be working on, or even just any random project you would like some advice on. Dame Fionna, Dame Galtana and Sir Blackhawk will be available to critique work and give some pointers. I strongly recommend that anyone with in interest in the arts and sciences be there, it will be a helpful and yummy night for all!

  • May 3rd- DW Crown Quals held in RE in conjunction with RE DW/WM. Candidates quals will be announced as soon as possible afterwards.

  • May 3rd (Sat) - Woods of the Twilight Fenn - Relic Quest (Shield of Reflection, DIP, Heimdall's Horn) and Althing (PM Candidate Ratification)
  • May 3rd- Mystic Caverns in Glasgow, KY will be visited by their Principality Monarchy - "The Tyranny of B: Cutting off the escape" scenario.
  • May 3: Deadline for Declarations for office in the chapter of High Oasis

  • May 4th - EH Monarchy Finders Keep (Wichita Falls, TX)
  • Declarations for the high offices of the Iron Mountains are due on May 4th. This includes; Imperial Monarch, Imperial Regent, Imperial Guildmaster of Reeves, and BOD seats,. Althing proposals are also due.
  • May 4th -Receding Waters will hold their coronation at Russell Springs City park in Russell Springs Ky. They will be visited by the people of Winter's Edge.
  • May 4th - Felfrost will hold their first official coronation.
  • May 5 A&S Workshop - Duct Tape Roses(Perfect for Mother's Day)
  • May 8th -Beltane Nighthunter to be hosted by Mordengarrd.
  • May 9th at noon-Absentee ballots due to PPM Rolgrim via email if you are voting eligible and cannot make it to your park on the 10th DW
  • May 10: Crown Quals and Crown Tourney for High Oasis
  • Crown Qualifications for the Empire of the Iron Mountains will occur. Location TBA.
  • May 10th Iron Keep will hold Can Food Tourney to help one of their local food banks.
  • May 10th-Elections for DW offices. All local PM’s please send in your provincial ballot tallies to PPM Rolgrim by midnight. Election results announced as soon as possible.
  • May 10th-Duchy of Bitter Coast (Kingdom of Goldenvale) will be holding it's first Warlord Workshop.
  • May 11th- Kat Arkain is organizing the 1st annual Amtfair for Crystal Groves
  • May 11th Centerpoint will hold their third coronation at Overland Park, KS - Shawnee Mission Park from Noon to 6pm. Centerpoint is currently petitioning the Iron Mountains.   • May 15th-18th Thousand Stars IX - Total War!! will be held by Stormhaven out side of Spokane, Washington.
  • May 17th -Winter's Edge will hold their one day mid reign celebration at Radiant Valley. Weapon Master, Jugging, Quest, and Feast/Court.
  • May 17 at 11 am Saturday, Medieval Mania demo at Crofton Library Hosted by the Barony of Solstice, "a troupe of medieval costume re-enactors, will entertain you with stories, songs and games. See hand-to-hand combat and displays of arts and crafts from the period. Kids can make several crafts to take home. Come in costume and don't forget to bring your cameras."

  • July (Date Unknown) North Feast "right now the entrance fee will be $15 with lots of discounts for different things. we are hoping to get more then 100 people out at the event. frostlands, crimson circle, and north haven I am expecting to get 90% of your populace out there. if transportation is an issue let us know ahead of time cause we might be able to rent some vans or busses for groups big enough that wouldn't mind throwing in some extra money. This will be an RSVP only event.
