Companies, or Fighting Companies, are groups of people that have joined together to fight as a unit. Many companies stipulate that you may only join one company; however, as of V8, it is legal to join more than one. Some companies like Asura and Valkyries are "open companies," which allow members to belong to other companies. That being said, joining more than one company is rarely done, because it would be a conflict of interest to take the field with one company against your other.
