Global

• Aaron Strongbow (Bill McCamley) is running for Congress.
• Teth and Grumish of Five Oaks, Rising Winds released screen shots of the amtgard based game they are working on called "Splinters of Heartwood". There is a yahoo group for those interested.
• Joining the ranks of the many other published amtgard authors Chaos Ruine's book "THE TRIALS OF CHAOS" has been released.
• As of this posting 11 new chapters have been founded or reopened in 2008.

• Itsari posted photos of Mystic Springs participation in Chimaeracon 2008.
• Sir Crinos has declared for Monarch in the upcoming election. Final intents are due by Sunday at midnight.

Golden Plains

• Moonshadow announces that GP will celebrate their Kingdom midreign at Clan 25.

Iron Mountains

• The River's End in Salt Lake City, UT discusses weather or not it will be mandatory to wear garb at their fighter practices.
• The western Washington Principality of Northern Lights will hold a Circle of Monarchs meeting to discuss thing occurring during the upcoming reign.
• The Duchy of Olympus will be holding their 2nd Annual Ironman Tournament at Lower City Park in Iowa City, Iowa on Saturday March 15th. RSVP's and questions should be sent to Skrag [1].
• Kayden announces that Amtgard has been invited back to Starfest, a convention to be held in Denver, Colorado on April 18-20. The staff are looking for Volunteers for a demo.

Dragonspine

• Dragonspine proper in Los Cruses, New Mexico has decided to give fighter practices another go. They will be holding this on Thursdays at Apodaca Park at 7pm.
• Anatole Stroke has declared war on all monsters living in and around Dragonspine, or as Duke Stroke calls, it "Anatolia". He has done this with the backing of King Randall.

Goldenvale

• The Duchy of Bitter Coast, and the Shire of Dragon Cross have begun looking into the possibility of having a joint Coronation event.
• Caradoc Hold's Midreign Celebration is held March 15th, field at Nazareth College Rochester, NY, at 1:00PM
• The new Kingdom Monarchy announces their goals for the up coming reign. They will hold an althing to discuss them and changes to their corpora.
• The Barony of the Sea of Rhye Proudly announces their first large event, The Underdark June 27th - June 29 to occur at Nike-Carrollton Park, Smithfield VA. This will be a role play event based on 2 teams, The Drow and The Sea of Rhye. The Drow are invading the Sea of Rhye with mysterious unknown purpose. Still, their conquest is relentless and it seems nothing can stop their forces.

Wetlands

• The barony of UTopis, thought to be inactive, will hold their midreing on the 15th at Four Mile Park.

Neverwinter

• Noflow announces that the Shire of Nowhere Mountains in Athens, WV is now officially petitioning the Principality of Winters Edge.

Rising Winds

• Phoenix Tears in Springfield, IL is sending a group to of at least eight to visit it's sister chapter Cursed Prairie in East Peoria, IL.
• Western Gate Quals Scores are in dispute.
• Madoc's Keep in Louisville, KY will hold their Qualifications Tourney.
• Dragon's Tale hopefully will hold a feast. Their last meeting was canceled due to weather. They will be at Leaverton Park in Palestine again.
• The East Peoria chapter Cursed Prairie has created their own Forums.

Blackspire

• Pacwar planning begins in earnest, headed by Shorty.

Crystal Groves

• Feast of the Dead, and the regent Rentell continue to be embroiled in arguments with the list at large.

Freehold

• Veles Harbour in Yorktown, Virginia will hold an open house for all comers with free food.
• Panther's Claw reopens in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
• Falcon Tor in Columbia MO is having trouble playing at their park. They have been removed more than once by a park ranger, now they have completed their "Special Use Permit" for the City, and have a meeting scheduled Moday (3/17) to plead their case.
