March 7, 8, 9 2008

  • Frostlands in Oshkosh, Wisconson is organizing under it's new Duke Zebidark are focusing outward, planning to raid the near by chapter of Mists of the Dawn. On Friday the 7th a reporter from Good Morning Wisconsin, will shoot footage of the Frost landers for her morning show.
  • The Crystal Groves list continues to boil with arguments for and against having an SCA household run their Feast to the tune of 1500$.
  • Dragonspine has returned home from their annual victory against their out laying lands. Lost Souls, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Thundering Mountain, Socorro, New Mexico; and Alucard's Guardman all rose against their king this year, but were ultimately stamped down.
  • Blackspire will hold it's Kingdom coronation at McClellend Art Center in Longview, WA. This will be King Darrian's Second consecutive reign.
  • Western Gate will hold a demo for the movie 10,000 B.C. at their local theater from6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the 7th.
  • Ironwood, a chapter of the wetlands in Conroe, Texas will hold a Arts and Sciences competition.
  • The Frostlands in Oshkosh, WI will hold a fighting tourney.
  • In Memphis, TN Soul's Crossing an incipient shire of the Emerald Hills will hold their first large event. It will be a role playing camp out called the Elf Orc Wars.
  • A freehold in Buffalo, New York called Twin Moons will hold it's Midreign Celebration.
  • Cursed Prairie in East Peoria, IL will hold their Qualifications at Fondulac Farm Park. Sign-In starts at noon. The competitions will begin anywhere between 1 and 1:30.
  • GP Coronation Held at Camp Don Harrington, the price is 10$ a person.
  • Emerald Hills Holds a Kingdom Allthing,
  • The Robinson, Illinois chapter of the Rising Winds, Dragon's Tale with hold their Quals.
  • Dragon Cross will be holding their Coronation, as a pot luck feast to follow.

March 15th-16th

  • The Duchy of Olympus will be holding their 2nd Annual Ironman Tournament at Lower City Park in Iowa City, Iowa on Saturday March 15th. RSVP's and questions should be sent to Skrag [1].
  • Western Gate will hold their quals.
  • Madoc's Keep in Louisville, KY will hold their Qualifications Tourney.

  • Rising Winds holds it's 12th Coronation. Festivities include a night quest, Ironman Tourney, A Marvel vs. DC Battle, The Champion's Tourney, a Relic Quest, and Circle of local Monarchs.
  • Emerald Hills Celebrates their 40th reign and their 20th year as a kingdom with a Birthday Bash , at Tanglewood Forest.
  • Broken Citadel in Lampasses, Tx holds it's coronation and an Arts and Sciences Tourney.
  • March 30th Ironwood in in Conroe, Texas will hold a late Easter/ welcome to spring A&S for the kids! Bring your happy smiley kids, and we'll decorate and eat cookies, draw/color, make stuff, and... There will be a A&S tournament for us big kids too!!!!
  • The Duchy of Olympus will be holding their Crown Quals on Sunday March 30th at Lower City Park in Iowa City, IA.
