6.1 Rulebook

Long term and controversy-shrouded project to update the Amtgard Rulebook 6.0, started around 1997. In October of 2002 after many years, the first draft of 6.1 was finally unveiled. Last year an update, termed 6.12 was released. The latest version can be found at the official 6.12 website:

Has since been "bumped" up to 7.0

The project has been controversial for many reasons, including the selection of committee members (reps were not chosen solely by the kingdoms represented), the length of time for the project, and certain aspects of it such as the use of Hybrid over Atomic Clock or Shot In Motion.
