Kyten Darkjester
Kyten (formerly known as Kitheria) is a broken stair who was banned-for-life 2023. She only participated in actual battlegames for a few years back in 1990s, after which time, she continued to hold various elected-offices for over 20 years, being involved in countless controversies during that time.
The stain of her presence was finally removed in 2023. She was perma-banned after it was discovered that she abused her position as a midreign campout event-'crat, to conspire with others and facilitate a banned-player (a COC3-offender) to attend the event under-the-table.
Her ban propagates to all kingdoms.

Contoversies
Extreme Negligence While Holding Elected Office
In early 2019, the City of Tacoma began the planning-process to renovate the Sprinker Rec Center (where her home-park plays). Due to her position on the SM BoD, Kitheria was listed as the contact for the Amtgard group. City officials initially called Kitheria and spoke with her, explaining that the city wanted to solicit feedback from every sports team and group that used the sports fields/facilities on the land - including Amtgarders. In particular, they wanted to display the team logos of each local sports-team in the entrance to the park. They also wanted feedback on where to install new bathroom facilities, gazebos, paved trails, and other park amenities. Subsequently: city planners attempted to contact her multiple times during the course of the renovation planning process. For reasons heretofore unknown: Kitheria never responded again, nor did she delegate this duty to anyone, and thus the needs and desires of the taxpayers who play Amtgard at SM went unheard during the park's renovation-planning process.
Later, in 2020, this extreme negligence was discovered, and a group of private-citizen players began working with the city planners to influence the tail-end of the park-renovation-process and at least get a gazebo built near where the Amtgard group meets. During this process of working with city officials: the above information was disclosed, regarding Kitheria's extremely negligent inaction in this matter.
Nepotism with Ladder Awards
In 2019 while holding office as Monarch of SM (at the time - a Duchy with well over 100 active players), she gave only seven (7) awards during midreign, all of which went to siblings in her belted line or members of her various households. Other lands in the Kingdom of NL would typically give 50-100 awards during a comparable midreign. This garnered quite a lot of controversy at the time.
Land-level BoD Corruption
In 2022, it became public knowledge that the land of Shrouding Mist had it's own BoD, nonprofit status, and bank account. SM was the only land in the kingdom to have this, and one of the only lands in all of Amtgard to have this. This is highly irregular for an Amtgard park. After years of shady activities, there was a movement led by the then-monarch of SM to dissolve the land-level nonprofit, and disband the BoD, of which Kitheria and her friends were members. After a public meeting/discussion on this topic: Kitheria's belted family exerted their influence within the kingdom to get the the Duke of SM on probation & have the king potentially remove him from office. The Dunk appealed; there was a Kingdom althing; and more than two-thirds of the kingdom voted to overturn his probation and stop his removal from office.
The vote did go forward, and the BoD was eventually dissolved.
Her 2022 Suspension & Her Attempts to Circumvent said Suspension
In 2022, Kitheria was involved in an incident which the monarchy of SM unanimously agreed was worthy of short-term suspension. This suspension would have propagated to the rest of the kingdom. Someone leaked this info to Kitheria mere hours before the suspension-announcement was made public. Rather than face the consequences of her actions with honor, she quickly changed her name in the ORK and on Facebook; deleted her pictures from everywhere; deleted her page from this very Amtgard wiki; and changed her home-park from SM to MH. Thus, she was able to (temporarily) circumvent the land-level suspension.
During the resulting discussions on facebook: Kitheria lied, claiming she had changed her home-park several weeks ago, and was unaware of the incoming suspension. An investigation of activity-logs on the Amtwiki + the server logs on the ORK showed otherwise, and she was publicly caught in the lie.
Knowingly Assisting Another In Circumventing His Suspension
In June 2023, Kitheria served as a crat at the NL's kingdom midreign campout. There, she conspired with fellow crats to allow a banned player to attend the event under-the-table. For this, she was finally given a lifetime ban from the game.
Offices Held
Kitheria has held countless positions - and this is a controversy in and of its-self. There was a long-held believe amongst the population of Shrouding Mist that Kitheria was paying the dues of other players without their knowledge, and voting on their behalf in elections. Kitheria held countless elected positions over the years, though since her banning, the legitimacy of those elections are presently subject to an ongoing audit. Discrepancies have indeed been found.
