Bio

Introduced to the game in 2005 by her real-life friend Kiki Umara, she started to play for a short while before mundane got in the way, causing her to either forget or lose all interest. (She forgets if she has forgotten, isn't that something?) She made a comeback when invited along to go to a coronation event in September of 2007, and having so much fun that weekend inspired her to get back into the swing of things and pick up a sword again and head out to the field.

Becoming more active in her Barony has sparked her interest in helping her land. She ran for regent with high hopes, and is now the first female officer that Satyr's Crossing has ever seen.

She attends all RW events From Discord to Bridge Wars and successfully staved off death and frost bite at the November Midreign for the first time ever. (2008)

Taver has a Page, her RP Cousin Sage via her title of Lady. Hee hee Sage the Page. It rhymes. I had to point that out you know =] You can call me Captain Obvious if you like.

Now when Venne was born, my mother passed away. I was only but four years old and Zaaki was a wee two. Father hired an old woman to care for us and she was the closest thing to a mother we knew. Her name was Jira, and from her I learned all the things that I could tell you to this day.

Father was a Lord, and as such he dealt mainly with business matters and had little time for either my brothers or I. We bonded closely with Jira, and lamented her passing the year I turned seven. I would never forget that night...

It was a night like any other, and one would have been amazed at how the stars shone so brilliantly throughout the night sky. If you looked close enough, you could see one fall every few seconds. My brothers and I were in a field catching fireflies, waiting for my father to call for us. That call never came.

'Twas then that the fires rained down, and all of my village was destroyed for reasons that I could not fully comprehend. We saw the strikes, we saw the explosions. We ran back, to search for the ones we loved, for our cousins, for our father. On the way we could see many who were dead, or fatally wounded. We couldn't find anyone. There was only a score or so of survivors, including my brothers and I, and my cousin Sage. It was a sad event for a once flourishing community.

We banded together, what was left of my family. My father was lost to "The Inferno" as we later called it, and so we were taken in by a older man named Fytz. I soon learned that he was Jira's widower, and he took us in purely remembering the joy she had in caring for us. We were his way of keeping her memory alive.

In the fall of my fifteenth year, I finally asked Fytz what caused The Inferno. The answer frightened me, and for a few days I would not eat, I would not speak. I was angered more than any other time in my life. One night I decided to leave, without the knowledge of Fytz, or my brothers and cousin. I would try and seek revenge on the ones that caused The Inferno.

I packed what little possessions I had, and at night whilst the others slept onward, I left our den for the world outside. My thoughts were riddled with the faces of those lost, and for a while, somberness was all that I knew. There was a war inside me, a war I had to fight and conquer, and I knew that the end of this war would lie in the form of one being, and when I found him, I'd get my revenge.

My travels took me through the Charred Lands, the remnants of my former home, and way down past the hills of ash. I soon came to a small town, Satyr's Crossing. This place, untouched by the ash and fire, became my home. Here I lived, and here I worked, but it took me a while to figure out that I did not feel at ease there.

It surprised me when I came upon my cousin Sage. She did not stay there long, saying that the town reminded her too much of our homelands, and once I thought about it, I too decided to leave. She was right, this place was too much like our village. It wasn't long after that I joined my roaming cousin in Autumn Grove. She too now knows the truth of our past and wars with me to choose peace. There are smiles now, and happy times among friends, and sometimes the fiery past is left behind us. Autumn Grove is my home, but I still can't forget about the things I know, so I'll keep on roaming. I heard that Phoenix Tears would be a good place to resume my search, so I press forward.

We can smile now, and laugh and jest, some of us even forgive. But we don't forget so that we aren't doomed to repeat, and mayhap one day I will let go of it, and focus on making a better future for myself, my brothers, and the world.
