Biography
Kubla Khan first encountered Amtgard in 2001 at the Barony of Greenwood Keep, then under the Empire of Mystic Seas. In 2004 he relocated to Seattle, WA, near the Barony of Inland Ocean.
Kubla is the current Monarch of Inland Ocean for the 2008-2009 winter reign. Past terms were served as Prime Minister for the Principality of the Northern Lights, Inland Ocean, and Greenwood Keep. From 2005 to 2006, he served two reigns as Monarch of Inland Ocean.
Kubla is a regular participant at Pac War and Thousand Stars in the pacific northwest. In 2007 he attended the Gathering of the Clans.
Takes his name from the 1798 poem,
Kubla Khan
, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge:
