Biography

Kricket started playing in the winter months of 2007 under the name Krix. At Tribal Rivals II early in the morning Sir Goliath and Syr Sanchez unable to remember Krix from severe hangovers renamed him Kricket. Has spent considerable time on the road traveling between GVP, Haranshire, and other places within the east coast throughout his early career in the game. During the first half of 2009 founded the website AmtGear, a t-shirt/apparel store hosted by Cafepress with gear specifically tailored to Amtgarders and boffer fighting.

Post FOF 2009, he assisted Jynx Mercades in the founding of The Church of the High Cross, as its Lord High Confessor, preaching salvation to all the unholy infidels of the ditch. Promptly at the next event, and the first event where the Church was properly represented became Jynx Mercades Man-at-Arms. Inquire some time about the Kricket and Jynx's first encounter, it's quite the story, and then he found twenty bucks as a jet flew by.. In August of the same year, Jynx did present Kricket with a squire's belt, with a teary eyed speech that left the surrounding watchers awed at the annual birthday bash celebrating the birth of the one true skorpion, and Saint of Hobo Juice.

As of summer 2010 Kricket abandoned Western New York and relocated to Central Texas.

Rumors surrounding Kricket

Krix was once served a cease and desist order by the lawyers representing the actual Clan McDickstab in Tasmania. Originally from the scottish island of North Roma, they were at various points evicted from that island by Vikings, then resettled on Arran, where they were made groundskeepers of the Holy Isle, until a rather unfortunate incident involving a garden rake. The entire clan was sent to indentured servitude in Australia, but maintained their identity becoming one of the most feared gangs in the australian penal colony. Fearing loss of control of the colony, the governor agreed to release them providing they leave the Australian mainland, which they did to the only place they could afford at the time, Van Dieman's Land, now known as Tasmania. They still fiercely guad their identity, and every year hold their own version of the Highland Games, known locally as "The Dickstab Games". - Roger
