Random Stuff
Why Sylvanista? When I heard about Amtgard and was told about the possible classes I could play, I knew I wanted to play a scout. Sounded like the perfect class for someone who loves being outside especially in wooded areas. All I had to do was pick a persona name. I wanted something that related to being a scout. Sylvan was perfect (meaning of or pertaining to the woods). Now I just needed to make it sound more feminine. I was really excited to have a persona name my first day. Most people out at the park teased me for wanting to be an elf. It was several weeks before someone finally told they thought I "stole" my name from Dragonlance. I might have figured it out sooner but I had never read a Dragonlance novel. :)
Why de'Ebonydaryth? When I started Amtgard, most of the people I new in the game had long names. Growing up, I had a black cat named Daryth. I came up with the last name as a bit a tribute to my memories of Daryth.
