Biography
Albany, GA, 1996 is where I face my first amtgard park. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to head out for a different kind of RP that was "not official but getting there". After 10 minutes of being introduced to everyone, I became "the lil sis". Another 5 minutes of begging (on my part for a weapon), I was handed two daggers and was on the field and getting the crap beat out of me. After that game, I was taken aside and taught the actual rules. Sadly, due to the park not being an official part and legally contracted, it disbanded. In 1999, I was visiting my (RL) brother in Valdosta, GA when he introduced me to Dragon's Keep. So every Sunday there after, I traveled the 2 hours of driving from Albany to Valdosta just for amtgard. By the end of that year, I became a Saracen. Soon After, Kyat was adopted by Rhone Du Chevalier. Over the years, I have been given several awards (many that I did not even try to get). In 2005 (or 06, can't remember), I became belted to Nightrisa. Somehow, not exactly sure when it happen, I became the "pet" of Cubli. In 2007, my (now ex) husband and I decided that we needed to start a park closer to where we lived. So Frost Fire was created. Due to unforeseeable circumstances, I had to move and found out later that FF was defunct. In mid 2011, I moved to Valdosta and visited DK park only to find that it is now Forsaken Hollow. There are old faces as well as new, but I love them all!
In April 2012, my husband was stationed in South Carolina and we found out that there is not a park anywhere in the state. So in May 2012, we were contracted to start a new park in Columbia, SC. YAY! Midnight's Frolic
As for the persona I play... well that is a different matter all together. I am a changeling, nuff said.
Kyat is a graphic artist, seamstress, clothing designer, painter, and many other crafty things. She especially loves making garb, and often found herself at events where people wanted to commission her to make their garb as well. So she has started her own Kyatastic site to include all her creations.
