Not sure who really is the main front page updater, but I'm gonna err on the side of Linden. Goldenvale demoted the Barony of the Sea of Rhye to Shire, and then dropped them from the Kingdom. Yet this week, Goldenvale news is empty. Just thought that was somewhat newsworthy. -Montag 10/31/08

Black Heaven

Linden, Black Heaven is a fighting company founded at Western Gate in RW. If you look at the people's ORK page the people who are listed as members of Black Heaven are actually the "Black Hands". Could you lift the protection from it? So that the WG members can have their fighting company with the members in the correct place.

How do I...?

As far as the timestap things go, the only boxes I see are "minor edit" and "watch this page". Perhaps I'm missing a setting from My Preferences? I'll check that now. --Lucas The Lost

• @ lucas- the timestamp thing is added by putting ~~~~ or ~~~~~ after your comment/edit. Four puts your name and the time stamp, five is just the time stamp. Examples: 4: Hannoske 22:06, 22 October 2008 (EDT) 5: 22:06, 22 October 2008 (EDT)

How the heck do i shrink the DW map on the DW wiki page down to a more managable size?

• You will add text similar to: [[image:imagename.jpg|right|300px]] the "300px" is the size you want it. And the "right" is the alignment and is not necessarily needed. You will need to upload the picture into the data base first though. Hannoske 22:06, 22 October 2008 (EDT)

Madoc's Keep

I don't know if it's just my computer doing this but the Madoc's Keep page never shows up without an internal server error on my computer unless I click it through a link from another page. If you just type in madoc's keep into the search bar and click go it just shows up internal server error. Does it do that for you too? If so what's wrong with it? Roslyn

I can't fix Wilhelm WG so that it just shows up Squire Wilhelm. It was originally Wilhelm Twerby Debunknik and he told me to take that off but I don't remember how to fix it so that it's not Wilhelm WG.

Deletion Requests

I'm not sure where you would want me to post the images that I needed deleted so I'll try it here... Page Move Requests

Linden I made a change to the page that Heimdale created on 10/17/07, he stated my name was Rammork Darkfalcon and it is Rammork BlackFalcon

No problem, that is easy enough to move. I had noticed that you added information to the Player Entry Template, Unfortunately I had to remove that information because you saved it on top of the Template, which is used by many other people. But the information still exists. Would you like me to retrieve it for you? I also check with the Burning Lands to confirm you Knighthood. The general consensus is that there is no record of it taking place in any of the chronicles of the time. But that if Heimdale says that he did it they won't question it.

I will start moving pages around and see if we can get this fixed up. Thank you for your contributions to the wiki! -Linden

Did it, the Texas Page is listed as Rogue's Haven Texas, and both have a disambiguation tag on them. I don't know jack squat about the Texas chapter aside from where it is and that the guy that taught me amtgard played there, so someone else will need to fill in the info! Tenebrus

I just received your message regarding the rollback of my changes to Nithanalorn's page. Please forgive me for any problems I caused by editing out of turn, but to be honest, I've never edited a Wiki before, and don't know what the proper procedure is.

The edit I had made was the removal of the photograph. I did this because Nithanalorn is not in the picture. The people in there are none other than Ahrmaand (in the foreground), a fellow named Joe Fontenot, whose character name I quite forgot, and Sharjinka, a barbarian.

I did put this same photo in Ahrmaand's page, since it seemed more appropriate that it go there.

In the future, if I see an inaccuracy, what should I do?

Categories

There are a lot of Category-less entries, and they make me sad. Do we have any way of adding bulk groups of articles to Categories, so that we don't have to edit each page to get the Categories in? Mithrandiel 20:04, 26 August 2008 (EDT)

The 'noinclude' just makes it so that pages they're added to aren't also part of that category. It might be a bit more convenient the other way, but it's also Wrong. MHoG isn't a beltline template, he's a belt holder who happens to use templates (and good for him). --Lucas The Lost

I appreciate the warm welcoming, m'Dame. All the same, I tend to be an AmtWiki junkie of sorts--it starts with me finding a page or two that needs fixing, and then two hours or more later I come up for air amidst cascaded windows of the Amtgard 7 PDFs and wonder when I'm going to study for upcoming exams.
And then I tend to stay away for some time because I fear I might be again sucked in--a fate not especially compatible with doctorate school.
So it was nice that I had a day off today, thus allowing me to Wiki at will.
Additionally, someone spammed this page with Yahoo!Group air conditioning review links, it seems? I took the liberty of removing them. I hope you don't mind.

I took the liberty of revising the Relics page so that it had links to all of the Amtgard 7 Expansion Group relics instead of including just those from Nautical Nights as a subheading. Question, though: should we have each relic have its own page, make one page for each subdivision per book (i.e. one page for Nautical Nights garb, one page for Nautical Nights weapons, etc.), have all the relics and their descriptions on the relic list page for each expansion book (i.e. spell out all Nautical Nights relic descriptions on Nautical Nights Relics), or list them all as nonstandard relics by type (i.e. one page for Amtgard 7 Garb relics, one page for Amtgard 7 Weapon relics, etc.)? I wanted to ask you before going to the trouble of putting in all the relic descriptions, to prevent major move headaches later. • Give each relic its own page, and then use categories to associate them. Good day Linden you asked me awhile back what the name of the park was that a friend and I started in Norht Carolina. The name was Nature's Change! Like I said the park pretty much died as soon as we got deployed to Iraq. The park wasn't official. I was in the process of trying to get it legitt but once again the deployed aspect comes into play!
