I came across Amtgard in the [[Western Dragon Hills]] in Carson City, [[Nevada]]. I discovered that my home state of Wyoming had no Amtgard influence and since I was returing home for college soon, I told my Lordship [[Yhamish McKrotch]] that I would start a group here, and we have been growing very well since then. My fighters and I are excited to be doing this and are proud to be the first Amtgard park in Wyoming.

They would play in the lobby of their dorm at Western Wyoming Community College.  From their dorm they expanded into a modest park who met in the college quad.  Truevale was a founding member of the Principality of the [[Desert Winds]] in 2006.  Truevale began experiencing low population issues in late 2008, but thanks to the dedication of a few die-hard members the park underwent a resurgence and hoped to once again become a vibrant and thriving park in the Desert Winds.  Unfortunately, numbers died out again and the park went defunct in October 2014. In March of 2019 Truevale began a resurgence and ressurection thanks to Fossil Ridge Founders Dane Emaniss Pretarious and Fauna of the Meadows, and a Native of the Jynx's days Jonsey McFly.

Due to the frigid weather here is southwest Wyoming, Truevale has retreated to the warmer climes of the Western Wyoming Community College Auxilary Gym. We meet from noon until 10 pm every Saturday afternoon. We play by Hit-in-Motion for counting deaths and put great emphasis on role-playing. Truevale was founded by Wyoming Native Jynx Black who had discovered Amtgard in the now-defunct Western Dragon Hills of Nevada and brought the game home with him in 2002. The chapter began as a double-date with Jynx, his wife Kat, his friend Blackie and an ex of Blackie's. They would play in the lobby of their dorm at Western Wyoming Community College. From their dorm they expanded into a modest park who met in the college quad. Truevale was a founding member of the Principality of the Desert Winds in 2006.
