Staccatto Toccata, of the Inland Ocean under the Northern Lights of Kingdom Blackspire

”Damnit [Staccatto], stop being better at women than me.” -Shadowraith Lykaios

"Amtgard: Our standards are lower! Now even moreso when you just add BEER! So what if she's a 4? When you add this six pack, that's a 10!" -Staccatto

"In addition to his wife... I also want his hat." -Staccatto

Biography

Staccatto was introduced to Amtgard in the spring of 2007 as a senior in high school. He played regularly with the Crimson Sanctum throughout his senior year and the summer until he moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. While in Seattle, he occasionally plays with the good folk of the Inland Ocean where he takes ruthless beatings from vastly superior fighters.

His most recent pet project has been recruiting members for an order. And an awesome one at that. More details to come.

Notable Accomplishments

  • Occasionally writes songs about various people in the shire. Ask him to play you "Lalailom the Lusty Wench" or "Ballad of the Wraith" someday.
  • Responsible for updating the heraldry of the Crimson Sanctum after their join with the Kingdom of Dragonspine. Though the actual sketch of the heraldry was done by an artist friend of his, he spearheaded the initiative to get it made and inked and digitized it himself.
  • Responsible for the code, but not the design, of the Crimson Sanctum's splash page.
  • Is coming dangerously close to succeeding in his recent project to get Shadowraith so exasperated that he cries.

More Information

I come off as a bit of an arrogant jerk. Sorry about that; it's really more of an act than anything. I like to play the bard and, in my head, that tends to include a degree of playful teasing. I'm still calibrating and strength and accuracy of the "Bardsmack" (Bardsmackuracy, if you will).

If it really bothers you, please just talk to me about it. When push comes to shove, I like to think I'm pretty good at putting my nose to the grindstone and getting things done. I do have a genuine, profound respect for many, though I usually prefer to express it by giving them a hard time.

My favorite pre-game music is The Book of Heavy Metal by Dream Evil. Specifically, I imagine myself killing hoards of "bad guys" like something out of Dynasty Warriors to the song M.O.M. (Man or Mouse).
