In Amtgard, Japan is frequently represented by Japanese persona, usually samurai, ninjas, or occasionally other more obscure types - kitsune, sohei, et cetera.

Because so many players of Japanese Persona are relatively tall white people, the SCA coined a humorous term to describe them -"Aryental", a portmanteau of "Oriental" and "Aryan".
