Nomadic Tribes of the Emerald Coast

A chapter of Neverwinter based in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.

History

Founded By Evil Ryss and Kudzu, this group is known more for its abundant traveling than its numbers.

After Evil Ryss and Kudzu both moved on (they were only in the area because of the air force base), Rolando Darkjester has been the main person keeping the groups existence hanging on.

To the dismay of the founders, EC had fallen to the wayside in 2007. In early 2008 the park was restarted by an influx of new people from out of Kingdom.

Directions

Meeting Times. Battlegames are Sunday at Fort Walton Beach Landing in Fort Walton Beach from 2:00 to whenever.

"Any and all visitors are welcome and we will be traveling as well. The park will be inheriting all of its colors, history and name. We will be keeping the same symbolism, nomadic practices and the name "The Emerald Coast"

Events

Hosted a couple events called "Breakfeast" in the late 90s.

Trivia

  • The name "Emerald Coast" is the local name for this area of Florida's coast. Much of Florida's coast has similar names (e.g. "treasure coast", "space coast", etc).
  • Emerald Coast is the only Neverwinter chapter in the Central Time Zone. It is farther west than Rising Winds.
  • It takes about 12 hours to drive from Emerald Coast to the other end of Neverwinter proper.
  • At one time Olympiad in 2000 was slated to be hosted by Neverwinter, in the Emerald Coast area. But the plans fell apart and the event was handed off to Mystic Seas.
