History
Formed in 1997, Nine Willows was at one point a shire under the Celestial Kingdom. The Midland chapter of Amtgard is currently a province within the Kingdom of Golden Plains. On July 24th, 2002 Nine Willows was voted to recieve their Barony staus at the Kingdom of the Golden Plains Ten Year event. On August 13th, 2011 the populace of the Kingdom of Golden Plains voted to make Nine Willows a Duchy of the Kingdom.
Nine Willows currently fields members of several different companies and households including the Discordian Order, Iron Curtain, Legion of the Black Cross, Unseen Hand, Amalgam, Black Lotus Monastery, Clan Bloodtooth, and House T'nirgilesti.
