Great Eastern, originally the Great Eastern Gathering of the Clans, was created as an joint event for all eastern groups as an alternative to Clan, but has since been adopted by Goldenvale as its own. The event has A&S and fighting tournaments, but its main attractions are its company ransoms, jugging, and other popular games. Goldenvale's Spring Midreign is held at Great Eastern each year.

In Events in 2004 GE was host to Olympiad.
