Biting Winds is a shire based in Groton, Connecticut.
History
The chapter was started in Summer 2014 by Pagan Darcborne, and by May 8, 2015 a chapter contract was signed.
Biting Winds petitioned to join the Kingdom of Goldenvale in August 2015, and joined officially on September 19, 2015 as a Sponsored Land. On October 29, 2016, a park vote was held to upgrade to Core Land status, and the vote passed.

Current officers were elected during coronation on July 16, 2016. The next coronation is expected to take place January 28, 2017.

- Park days are typically held at Pfizer Field in Ledyard, CT, at 12:00 PM on Saturday afternoons.
- From I-95 (South or North), take exit 86.
- Follow signs to CT 12 N/U.S. Sub Base.
- Follow CT 12 N for about 6.5 miles to St. David's Episcopal Church.
- Turn right onto Stoddard's Wharf Rd.
- Follow Stoddard's Wharf Rd. for 1 mile.
- Pfizer Field will be on the left, next to a cemetery.
