- A Arrow with a purple cover is a Suppression Arrow.
- Purple in Heraldry is called Purpure
- In Medieval Europe purple was thought to signify royal majesty, sovereignty and justice. Historically, purple dye was quite expensive, and purple fabric was often legally restricted to nobility/royalty.
