• Greetings from the Principality of Westmarch! The results of our spring Weapon and Dragonmaster are as follows: Dragonmaster: Leah of Seven Sleeping Dragons 1st Dragonmaster, Xiaho of Crimson Wood 2nd, and Brigade of Siar Geata 3rd. Weaponmaster: Deimos of Seven Sleeping Dragons 1st Weaponmaster, Nodule of Wavehaven 2nd, Feanix of Wavehaven and Grix of Wyvern's Spur tied for 3rd
• Declarations for Office in the Rising Winds have been opened. Thorvald has declared for another term as Monarch, Heydeez has declared for champion.
• This coming Saturday, the 28th of February, are the Midreign tournaments for Querna Tema , Weaponmaster and Dragonmaster, to be held in the same spot we had Quals in November, and Beddescon (the hotel just south of the 180th and Dodge intersection).
• King Anatole holds his forth reign attendance drive. Remember, our goal is to reach at least 40 people in attendance. So far we have met this goal with stellar success but our last few weekends has me slightly worried. So, tell your friends, and lets make this weekend rock! It is also Dragonspine Dragonmaster.

• March 7th at Davis Park Golden Plains Kingdom Coronation in Lubbock Tx Games start at 12:30 Recently several members of the populace have fallen ill to a contagious virus. Measures were taken to quarantine all infected. Unfortunately several escaped quarantine and have taken refuge in one of Irongates Topiary mazes. We must flush out the infected to avoid wide spread infection. link.
• March 7th - Pegasus Valley coronation and feast in Albuquerque, NM.
• March 8th Norhern Lights Crown Quals Where: Greenwood Keep (directions will be posted closer to event) I will have the sign ins for quals start a noon (yes some of us actually get to the field at noon) and close sign ins at 1:30, to be promptly followed by gathering up my judges and start judging. The requirements for Crown Qualifications are as follows; If you are running for monarch or regent of any land or Northern Lights you need to enter 7 items over 5 catagories scoring a 3.0 or better for each item. If you are running for champion of any land level or Northern Lights you need to enter 3 items in 2 catagories scoring a 3.0 or better for each item. If you are running at a shire level this does not apply to you. Also to qualify you have to take a reeve and corpora test, which we will have at quals if you have not taken one before then, then please do so at this event.

• Dragon Master: Saturday, March 14 Morningwood Glen Sunday, March 15 Eagleshire Times TBA; Pre-registration available until 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 9 (form coming soon) Submitting written entries also by March 9 would be muchly appreciated. Scoring System; This event will be scored on a BTA (Better than average) 3.5 system. Ideally, the competitors will have diverse talents and score well. The object of this scoring system is to keep people from winning the cultural tournament by flooding one category or entering a lot of poor quality entries in order to increase their score. The cultural winner will be the person with the highest combined score from entries that meet the following requirements; only the entrant's two best entries in any given category (enter 3 per category max) will count towards their overall score. Entries that achieve a score that is a 3.5 or lower will not count towards the entrant's overall score. Only scores OVER 3.5 count.

This three man team event is all about speed and efficiency against the muckiest, nastiest monsters there are in the Knoblands.
