Heraldry
History
The Sakura Moon Shoganuate is a group founded by a former Amtgarder. It exists in central Florida in the midst of the Kingdom of Neverwinter. They have yet to sign a contract with the BLBoD, or any other group though some of their members have expressed interest in doing so on E-Sam. Sakura moon operates in a very "Asian" theme atmosphere. Their parks, garb, officers, and even the classes that they play are usually inspired by the orient and related areas. Unfortunately, some of the leadership of Sakura Moon have chosen to change the rulebook, using a mash up of 6.0 and 7.0. It has been reported by members of SMS on Esam that they are currently seeking a contract, have signed waivers and are updating their weapons so that they are all legal under our 7.0 standards.
Some members of SMS visited the Neverwinter winter coronation in January of 2008, where they presented King Stinkfoot a royal cape as a gift.
Kurse has stated that he will be sending cease and desist letter sent out to SMS.

The Sakura Moon Shogunates are a collection of Japanese style "clans" organized into Shogunates. Our parks are many and have to be organized in such a way as to have both autonomy and organization across all of Florida. The SMS have throw many large scale events at various parks throughout Florida as our numbers allow for events in the range of hundreds of players.
Amtgard legal:
The SMS has yet to sign papers with the BOD on account of issues between the kingdom of NeverWinter and itself. Most of this comes from the our position of "Japanese Isolationism" and we feel that our code of honor which is not always adhered to by the guests from NW that come to our parks. Until a treaty has been set with them, the SMS will not sign the contract as we would like to have a strong foundation to do so. Arguing with ones neighbors is not a good thing and we hope to lay this issue to rest in the next couple of weeks.
SMS states that the only park using the term "Amtgard" currently is Tutsu Bonzai in Tampa. Tutsu Bonzai in Tampa have made it practice to use the "Engoku" Rules supplement. They will become the "Official" park if an agreement is met with NW.
