Heraldry
History
The Sakura Moon Shoganuate is a group founded by a former Amtgarder. It exists in central Florida in the midst of the Kingdom of Neverwinter. They have yet to sign a contract with the BLBoD, or any other group though some of their members have expressed interest in doing so on E-Sam. Sakura moon operates in a very "Asian" theme atmosphere. Their parks, garb, officers, and even the classes that they play are usually inspired by the orient and related areas. Unfortunately, some of the leadership of Sakura Moon have chosen to change the rulebook, using a mash up of 6.0 and 7.0. It has been reported by members of SMS on E-Sam that they are currently seeking a contract, have signed waivers and are updating their weapons so that they are all legal under our 7.0 standards.
Some members of SMS visited the Neverwinter winter coronation in January of 2008, where they presented King Stinkfoot a royal cape as a gift.

The Sakura Moon Shogunates are a collection of Japanese style "clans" organized into Shogunates. Our parks are many and have to be organized in such a way as to have both autonomy and organization across all of Florida. The SMS have throw many large scale events at various parks throughout Florida as our numbers allow for events in the range of hundreds of players.

On February 22nd 2008 Tetsu Bonsai of Tampa, The Land of the Phoenix of St. Pete, and the Ryu of the Rusoto Woods of Brooksville, broke away from SMS and were granted Amtgard freehold status in February of 2008. Shortly there after SMS Changed their Name to Sakura Moon Empire and began writing their own rules set which claims to diverge from Amtgard.
