Heraldry
History
Mists of the Dawn was founded late in may of 2004 by Mouse (Sheriff) and Blaze. The very first members to attend on the very first game day, were: Sage, Vahn, Nohbdy, Somber, and Sirth. Mists (as often called by members to save time) swelled to about twenty players by winter, then fell immediately around Thanksgiving, but later regained most of its members in spring.
Though founded in 2004, for some reason their amtgard contract wasn't sent in until 2006 (they were almost immediately accepted into the game). Today Mists of the Dawn has about 20 members that attend weekly and 10 others that attend every month or so. Showing growth, progression and passion, with some help from experienced members that were from Starmount, they plan to develop into an admirable park. With goals to build to duchy numbers by 2009, with demos and events. At the April 2007 Rosetta Pact Midreign Mists of the Dawn was brought into the Rosetta Pact and the Empire. And enjoyed a small reign within the PRP until the Principality of the Rosetta Pact dissolved in October 2007. MotD was removed from the Empire of the Iron Mountains by Althing Vote on April 20th 2008.
Contrary to much of what few loud amtgarders say online. Mists is not solely a flurb park. The park has grown in a decent balance of stick jock and flurb. In actuality Mists has become a nice stickflurb park, partly due to training handed down through Sir Zodiac Darkjester and prior members of Starmount.
