Biography

Esmea joined Amtgard in 1997 in a now defunct Shire based out of Sacramento, CA. After the loss of the chapter, they joined with 3 other former members and formed the Shire of the Golden Hills based out of Cameron Park, CA.

In December of 1999, Esmea moved to Salt Lake City, UT. They sought after the Shire of the Journey's End listed under the Iron Mountains, but was unable to get in contact. They contacted the Empire for direction and was told the group had fallen out of contact well before Esmea's arrival. On December 31st, 1999, with no lasting hope of discovering a preformed chapter, Esmea spoke with Sir Ivar during a session on the Burning Lands Amtmud regarding creation of a new chapter in Salt Lake City. A poll was taken during the subsequent weeks on this medium and the name of Rivers End was chosen. On January 20, 2000, The Shire of the Rivers End held it's first meeting with the attendance of 5.

Many years of highly fluctuating attendance numbers threatened the status of the Shire, some days only being that Esmea would show up. Esmea eventually enlisted into the U.S. Military for physical, mental, and career enrichment, inadvertently destroying their capacity of leadership in Rivers End. Their persisting dedication to the existence of the Shire was only recognized after they were to hand over the chapter to Celdic Fitz Caliston who was voted in as the new Chancellor, upon which Esmea instructed Fitz to "build a kingdom out of the beloved Shire". Their final attendance to Rivers End prior to departing was on Jan 11, 2003. By request of Fitz, Esmea was bestowed the title of Baronet - Given by Emperor Belgarion Torrid, later that month for his extended service towards the Shire, and ultimately the Empire of the Iron Mountains.

In 2006, Esmea appeared in the attendance of the Duchy of Irongate, where they met Sir Vagabond. They were inducted as Sir Vagabond's Man-at-arms.

Esmea reappeared in Rivers End on May 30th, 2009.

On October 17th, 2009, Esmea Tuek requested The Jester in The Duchy The Rivers End to join their belted line as Man At Arms. The Jester also joined House Tuek in the process. This was made official at the Desert Winds Kingdom Mid-Reign Crown Quals on October 31st, 2009, Where Esmea presented a hand crafted belt to Jester. This belt was later dropped by mutual agreement between the two that the physical separation of them was not conducive to their belted mentorship.

In 2011, Esmea moved back to Sacramento, CA, to get away from smog and harsh weather. They joined the Barony of Thor's Refuge shortly thereafter, using a business card that Collin the Red gave Esmea at Salt Wars in 2010 to gain contact with the group.

In 2011, Esmea founded M&S Leatherworks to provide quality-made leather armor and accessories to Amtgardians.

More Information

Uncontested (so far) inventor of the 'Direct Injected Foam Over Core' weaponsmithing that was stolen and horribly implemented by commercial manufacturers after they consulted them for advice. (note: if you can predate and contest of this prior to 2000, please inform Esmea, as they also posted their ideas on the original Amtgard-L for advice) This system was designed to even recycle broken-down foams from old weapons, reducing waste impact of Amtgard's weapons.
