It has been over ten years since lore keepers first mentioned The Order in their writings of the Barony of [[Tirana]]. From meager beginnings the Order has grown through the years and has faced peril after peril. It has helped Tirana stave off attacks from the invasion of the darklands, a veiled and shadowy realm populated by strange beasts and unnatural peoples, and border raids from the nearby city of Bonte'. At that time they rallied under a flag quartered gray and blue, with a black dragon silhouette.  Eventually the Order lost favor with the court, having become a political thorn in the side of the [[CK]] monarch, and were driven from that fair land. Some would say they had gained some dark knowledge while fighting back the darklands, and used it to escape that world.

Description

Members of Dragavon share a common thirst to strive towards a more dynamic and interactive experience in their game. They hope to contribute to the appearance of the field through their own appearance as well as helping others through extra equipment and learning the game. Most members are easily recognizable, as they tend to dress in blue and yellow, the colours of The Order’s heraldry. (Being a yellow dragon on a blue field)

History

It has been over ten years since lore keepers first mentioned The Order in their writings of the Barony of Tirana. From meager beginnings the Order has grown through the years and has faced peril after peril. It has helped Tirana stave off attacks from the invasion of the darklands, a veiled and shadowy realm populated by strange beasts and unnatural peoples, and border raids from the nearby city of Bonte'. At that time they rallied under a flag quartered grey and blue, with a black dragon silhouette.

In 1996 the majority of Dragavon chose to leave Amtgard after proving themselves a political thorn in the side of the CK monarchy. They remained for a few weeks at the park they'd started in, but then moved on.

Some would say they had gained some dark knowledge while fighting back the darklands, and used it to escape that world.

Today

In truth, after much time wandering, the remnants of the Order came to Drandmir in HFS in 1996, and found in it a memory of a home long lost. The coat of arms was changed to what is currently used, and new worthy members were found. Having established military power in the battles of the Combined Realms Wars I and II, then slipped into a slow decline as veterans passed on, or moved to other adventures. Now Dragavon is more of a household, still practising skills of arms, but investing more time to the crafting of maille and plate armour.

Other smaller parts of the Order may be scattered elsewhere, but the only known establishment of the Order is in Drandmir to this day.
