N. A color.

  1. When a Weapon is termed "Black" it means that that Weapon is poisonous, or will result in death. A hold over from the Dagorhir Rulebook that has little or no meaning today.
  2. If a Sash is black, it means that the wearer is playing an assassin.
  3. If a strip is black it means Poison or other Death Magic.
  4. If someone is wearing White face paint and a Black armband they are probably a Vampire.
  5. The colour black in heraldry is called Sable.
  6. In Medieval Europe Sable or black was thought to signify constancy, sometimes grief.
  7. In arguments, things can be black-and-white, meaning that the issue at hand is dichotomized (having two clear, opposing sides with no middle ground).
  8. In ancient China, black was the symbol of North and Water, one of the main five colors.
