Biography

Bjorn began Amtgard at the (then) freehold of the Ivory Tower in August of 2005, a few days after Matosai, and via his coaxing. He has been a mainstay of the park since its early years, and was the first champion of the Ivory Tower. An early staple of the Ivory Tower, he had a period of inactivity, for the majority of 2010, and half of 2009, but has since come back, full-force. He's held a bunch of offices, been in three fighting companies, and started three fighting companies. Two of them before he was 17. His current fighting company, Jackal Company, is the best organized, and definitely most successful. He's very proud of it. They are probably the most up-and-coming fighting company in Rivermoor. In 2013 he moved his credits to the Duchy of Querna Tema, because they are nice people, he guesses.

Bjorn dislikes a bunch of battle-games, because he believes that they are not fun, although he continues to play them because it allows him to hit people. His favorite class is recess, but warrior is a close second. He likes ditching, and enjoys tournaments. He also hits hard, according to people who get hit by him. He likes to swing that pipe of a pole-arm that has been affectionately named "Red Rocket" by Dominic, and "Satan's D***" by Matosai, and those names probably make less sense, because the pole-arm isn't even red anymore. His favorite style of fighting is probably single-sword, despite reputation as a pole-fighter.

Bjorn enjoys teaching new people, and tries to be as welcoming as possible. He also feels that he has a fairly down-to-earth approach to things, so this helps him be all likable and such. (Just kidding, dude's a jerk.) He does what he can for his park, whether it is picking up garbage, doing other people's jobs, or loaning out all of his equipment.

Bjorn cross-games into the SCA, where he portrays a 10th Century Norwegian Viking. He's fairly new to this, starting in February of 2013. He hasn't had as much of a chance to participate as he would like, due to school. He anticipates that this will be just as big of a part of his life as Amtgard.

Bjorn once hit a noob so hard they were sent into the abyss, where Bjorn's dark overlords devoured the flesh of innocent noob. Current count of noobs sent into the abyss: 16
