Biography

Azus the Scout
Many years ago, when I was a child, the raiders came from the north. They destroyed my village. During the fight, I was hit on the head, and ever since, my memory has been bad. As a result, I forget most parts of my life. At some point, I found myself in Vinland. At some point, I learn some skills with leather. Somehow, I got back to Europe, possible in the belly of some large fish. All I do remember was it was dark and smelly trip. At some point, most anything has happened to me, such as killing dragons or wizards, but somehow I can never remember the names of any witnesses of my fabulous deeds. Even more annoying, after killing some great monster, I find that a twin brother or sister that takes up the old lair!

Azus the Barbarian
I was an armorer back home, up in the northerness, and was doing rather well, but while an armorer has business, and some respect, there is never the respect that the warriors have when they return from a raid. So I took my money, and acquired a longboat, and a crew, and set south to make my fortunes. Those fools! They wrecked my boat upon the rocks, and the sea took their lives for their foolishness. Now I'm stuck in a strange land, selling my sword to any who need (and can pay!) as I rebuild the wealth I lost.

The Esteemed Representative from Azusistan
After a long day of fighting at Dragon Blade Wars IX (I believe this to be the correct event, but I find myself having doubts, likely due in part to the subject of the following statement -Ed.), and during a long night of drinking, it was declared by Azus' equally intoxicated peers that since he and his compatriot, Thistledown, were the only notable persons currently attending the Barony of Wyvern's Spur, and upon the consensus of the opinion that the land could have likely folded by now if not thanks to Azus, it should thusly be renamed (in an unofficial capacity, mind you -Ed.) to the Independent State of Azusistan. As such, Azus would forthwith be referred to as "The Esteemed (being held in high esteem to his belligerent peers) Representative from Azusistan." Additionally, any encroachments onto his folding camping chair, where his cape was often draped when not thrust about his shoulders, was regarded as a hostile invasion and a likely Act of War.

It was a good night, and a good proclamation.

(alas, the embassy was sacked at that event. The embassy being the aforementioned chair, and the sack being TB's <ahem> sack)

* Fall of '07 Westmarch voted to extend reigns so that coronation would fall on Prince's War / Feast of Mars. Fall of '08 Westmarch votes to extend reigns so that Coronation fell on Darkshore, and midreign at FoM. Thus, dates for champion and 1st PM are correct, these were 8-9 month stints.
