History

Was originally founded by Harkilar in 2005. The originality of this Shire is quite simple. Today they exist with savaged hearts of glory and awesomeness. Dragonspine is their Kingdom, who has they have taken great care them. The group has had a lot happen in the last several years. They started playing at Wingfield park during the year of 2008 due to the flooded streets of that years El Nina hurricane dropping us some of the worst weather our town has seen in 25+ years. In addition to the flooding the group has also endured wildfires which have been encroaching on Ruidoso as of late. Despite the adversity mother nature impressed upon the chapter the members strive to continue to strive torward The Dream and maintain a positive presence in their community with dedicated recruitment efforts and community involvement.The local Chamber of commerce even lists them as a big entertainment value to tourists and locals alike. Every year at the Earth Day celebration tey also hold a demo, and they have also started helping out the local library with their Summer Reading Program for kids between the ages of 2-10, helping them to read and to make dragon day possible. The group has good relations with local merchants, holding a demo once every six months in front of one of several midtown merchants some of whom hand out flyers for the chapter to every customer.

On a day to day basis they people of Savage Highlands enjoy teaching younglings these trades of weapon building, sewing, cooking, and fighting.
The Savage Highlands has many households and Fighting Companies on our battlefield and would love visitors more often. Our parks directions are easy and you can reach us at our contact information seen below at the bottom of this page.

Or You Can Stop By The Park just to come by and watch. We have a wide variety of people out at the park. We have several whom fight and role-play, however we do have some whom artisan crafts take a hold of and teach people how to sew, draw, cook, and make weapons.We look forward to having more families out at the park. We do encourage dad to play along and mom to join in also if not just to hang out is fine.

Savage Highlands meets at 2pm on Sundays in Wingfield park(Corner of Wingfield and Center Street one block South of Sudderth Dr in midtown. Blue State sign that says Wingfield Park is at the light of Center Street.) Located near the RAC and Municipal Court House. The chapter also meets for fighter practice at the park from 3:30 until dark. The group usually sees 8-15 players on gamedays and 6-10 for fighter practice. They are always welcoming newcomers, and encourage everyone to come and play, Families are always welcome and we like to include them.
