Reserved Symbols
To support our Awards and Recognition systems, Amtgard has a number of symbols or garments that are reserved for those who have received the relevant honor. These reserved symbols are:
Phoenixes
The Phoenix is the symbol of Amtgard and may only be worn in the following circumstances: as part of Kingdom Heraldry; when allowed by one of the honors below; or when granted permission by Amtgard International. V9: Symbols of Knighthood V9: Symbols of Masters
Squires
Red Belts.
At-Arms
Black Belts with Silver Trim
Pages
Yellow Belts.
Paragons
Silver trim on the relevant class sash.
Apprenticeship
Belt favor in a class color, trimmed in silver.
Symbols of Classes
All class identifiers are reserved in combat and roleplay for players who are actively playing those classes.
Symbols of Reeves
Thick, black-and-white stripes (invoking modern Referees), and straight, black/white checkerboard patterns.
