+ | Surprised to see there is nothing written for the Warriors as its a widely played class and at one point, was the only class playable to someone without garb but the [[Peasant]] class has fixed that. I've always loved the [[Warrior]] but have never actively played one for credits but is on my to do list. A first level Warrior is nice because of the 5th life plus all the weapon choices. Almost as good as the Barbarian except you can carry enchantments. The Improve Weapon is a rather decent ability especially when combined with Bladesharp. Now you have a shield destroying, highly damaging weapon. The javelin ability isn't bad but I never found them very effective unless you have a lot of them and place the all around the field as opposed to carrying them. Not much to say about Improve Shield and Quailty of Armor; they are nice but a Warrior at 6th level should already be wearing 6 points armor or playing something else and if your shield is destroyed, you get a new one. If it could block spell balls then it would be perfect but alas, no. In conclusion, Warrior is awesome if you want a very broad choice of weapons and enjoy making or wearing armor on the field. They are somewhat overshadowed by the Barbarian being about to have throwies and bows but they can only pick away so much of the armor with them and can't increase the damage. Its an interesting trade off. | ||

V8 Warrior is about maintaining your staying power while providing offense. While warrior is playable without armor, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't have some.
A quick breakdown of each ability with some notes: Scavenge - Allows you to repair a point of armor, or a weapon or shield each time you kill an opponent. This is one of your mainstays, it means that when you go up against someone who is unarmored/lightly armored.. you can usually get the kill, and repair some of the damage they did to you.
Harden - When in doubt, harden your weapons... it prevents them from being damaged by a bow. And remember this is per-life, so always keep it going. Most common things which are Shield Destroying will ignore harden anyways.
True Grit - Since this does not retain enchantments, it is best used in games with limited lives (life pools etc). Otherwise, only really useful if you need to stay in a certain location.. remember, this also does not bring back any damaged armor, and will not work at all if you are Cursed.
Insult - I see this ability overlooked a lot. It is very useful in several situations. It can make healer completely useless for 30 seconds, since he can no longer heal or rez. If there is a very powerful player on the other team, this can keep them off of your teammate's back. Hit them with it, and if you can take them on, stand and fight, or just keep your distance if you can't, either way, they are not steamrolling your team.
Shake It Off - Don't forget this is can be used for either States or Effects. This means you can reduce the effect of any verbal cast on you to 10 seconds. Also don't forget that you cannot use this if Cursed.
Ancestral Armor - Protects your armor from Magic Balls, Arrows, and Armor Breaking effects (Barbarians). You are still vulnerable to Sphere of Annihilation, and Abeyance though.

Surprised to see there is nothing written for the Warriors as its a widely played class and at one point, was the only class playable to someone without garb but the Peasant class has fixed that. I've always loved the Warrior but have never actively played one for credits but is on my to do list. A first level Warrior is nice because of the 5th life plus all the weapon choices. Almost as good as the Barbarian except you can carry enchantments. The Improve Weapon is a rather decent ability especially when combined with Bladesharp.
