"Lets face it, the sword is cool. It can slice, dice and decapitate! Fire is also very cool. it's hot, bright, and uh... firey! Now, adding 2 cool things don't always work well (See rocket+ninja VS. Pirate+Cyborg experiments of 1978) but fire and swords go together like peanutbutter and jelly." --Lumpy!!

The Sword of Flame's Entry on the Rulebook (V7):

Is considered flame (as per Flameblade (V7)) and will kill a victim if it strikes any legal unprotected area (as per Imbue Weapon (V7)). Confers upon itself and its owner Protection from Flame (V7). May only be used by one person, for one life, per game.

History of

The first quest for Quest (V7) for the Sword of Flame was held on February 23, 1984. The team of Ghee, Scarhart, Grimbold and Charloc won.
