Bardic Charm

From the Bard (V7) Class (V7) description in the Rulebook (V7):
Some monsters may be immune to the control school, but not bardic charm. Bardic charm is any control magic that is cast by a bard (V7) (even those bought with Voice (V7)).

Player Notes

Since it overlaps with the spell Charm (V7), I consider this a highly-unfortunate choice of name for an ability. Charm (V7) used through Bardic Charm will work on certain enemies that ordinarily would resist Control Magic, but then, so would, say, Legend. "Charm? I thought you used Legend!"
A better name might be "Bardic Lulling" or "Control Affinity." --Mithrandiel
