Heraldry

History

At the end of September 2010, the idea for Tortuga was born in front of a grill a Francios' place to bring Amtgard on Sunday's to the Twin Cities Metro Area. The first Tortuga gameday took place on Sunday, October 10th, 2010 and the final gameday took place in November of the same year. The chapter's contract was ultimately denied by the BLBOD when it was bought to their attention that the Tortuga was a splinter group. The group subsequently folded following the 3rd highest snowfall on record that winter.
