Biography

"My Goals in this game are to elevate everything I do, and raise the bar of anything I approach. This game needs people who are driven, wise, and aren't satisfied with the bare minimum. I believe your goals in Amtgard should somehow encompass leaving the field a better place than how you found it. When you truly become involved in a group, you are constantly looking for ways to innovate, collaborate, and improve the experience for everyone else. Amtgard has taught me how to be a better human being, and that's the best gift I could ever receive."

Started in 2010 in the backyard of a friends hitting each other with couch cushion wrapped bamboo. Once out to the park at Thor's Refuge she was hooked. Sid promotes A&S but also pushes hard for her fellow park members to be involved in the fitness side of the game just as much as the fun and social side. When she's not dragging other members into the ditch line to fight with her and exercise she's usually talking with some of our heftier members about how their activity has gone for the week and encouraging them to do more at home. Sid looks for any and every excuse to get bodies moving, and encourage players who struggle with their weight, health, and personal lives.

Sid left the Duchy of Thor's Refuge in July 2012 for browner pastures in Arizona and now resides within Sun's Haven as part of the Kingdom of Dragonspine. After a brief retirement following some life altering changes, Sid has returned to the community of Sun's Haven, and taken an active role in the parks leadership.
