Biography
Nightmare started his Amtgard journey in 1995 at Pegasus Valley in Albuquerque, NM. His first memorable event 1995 where he was introduced to his "future" family; the Saracens. In 1999, Nightmare was given a Man-at-Arms belt from Dame Andralaine of House Amazon which he held from 1999-2002.One of the first thing Nightmare brain stormed and brought into fruition was House Shadow Moon. Visualizing a place where young and old could come and realize that Amtgard was a game, nothing more. In 2003 his House swelled to 100 members and some having left for mundane military service made his house one of very few that have International members. In 2003, Nightmare came up with the idea of a Free Bar at an event known as Harvest War in which he coined the term "Bringing Friends and Enemies Closer.....in the Bottom of a Bottle". This has been a very popular and sought after part of Harvest War and recently introduced Nightmare's Bar to the Celestial Kingdom at Spring War 2008 with much anticipation and enthusiasm. In 2004 Dame Yonnah furthered his Amtgard career by giving him his Squire's belt.In 2005, one of Nightmare's goals was achieved as he was inducted into the Saracen nation (he cried). In addition, in 2005 Nightmare's expectations of his house were exceeded as his House numbers reached over 100 people spread worldwide. His house dream pinncled in 2008 when Nightmare was granted Lord title by HRM Arthon at Spring War, in recognition of Nightmare's on-going efforts to better his house and its members as well as his park. In May of 2008, he was elected Prime Minister of his park, Slaughter Creek.
