History
The fighting company of Gryphon's Rage, also known as the Gryarhweard, was founded in the then Duchy of Eagleshire in 1998 by TuK!, Dark Tigger, and Eep. The company struggled through its first few years, coming close to breaking up many times. Things began to change in 1999 as new members were added to the group including Ghost, Gryphons Haven transplant Thrann Von Doom, and Juju. Shortly thereafter the company added two more new members with another Gryphons Haven refugee Fionnigan Hellblazer and Wort. As the next few years went by the company experienced many great achievements and added three more members, and TuK! the company’s spiritual, if not always actual, leader was squired.
However the company's fate was not to be the same after the appointing of Juju and Fionnigan Hellblazer to the two chief command posts of Captain and Sergeant respectively. Within six months of the regimes taking of power and after some bad choices made by the command structure, TuK! had left the group over unresolved personal issues. Thrann was seduced by the Corsairs into their ranks, taking with him two other members. Also some remaining members began to converse with the Green Dragons about folding the company into their ranks, and every member trading in their green, black, and red belts for ones without the red. (There was never an offer to take the company as a whole into the Green Dragons. - Forest) Fionnigan Hellblazer opted not to take the Green Dragons offer having not even been consulted first hand about the deal, and the remaining "Gryphons" fled for the safety of numbers. Fionnigan Hellblazer continues to hold onto the company's heraldry and founding precepts, and has built a respectable group that inlcudes the membership of Broken, Nakamura Toda-Mashi Kyoshiro, Tarot Lacatus, and Lady Carmony. The dream that TuK! had many years ago is still going strong and will eventually take over the the most important field in The Kingdom of the Emerald Hills and the beat of our steed's wings will echo across every field and every kingdom eventually. And to all those who think this is a starter company Gryphon's Rage has only this to say, ten years of existence makes this company more than a starter company. If you would like to discuss it with anyone of the members of this company they will be happy to discuss this with you when they're done destroying you.
