Frost Lands
A chapter under the Rising Winds located in the Fox Valley Area Wisconsin.
Heraldry
History
Dates of importance: The first meeting of the Frost Lands was on June 16, 2001. The meeting consisted of three members, Donnovan Sunrider, Groan Mooncaller and Thomas Blackmoore. The meeting was at Donnovan's house.
Plamann park was decided on as a primary meeting place as of June 30, 2001.
- The Frost Lands had its contract signed by Burning Lands on 8-29-2001, and became an official Freehold in Amtgard.
- Received admittance into the Kingdom of the Rising Winds at Coronation March of 2005.
- Received Barony status under Rising Winds at Midreign June of 2005.
- Received Duchy status under Rising Winds at Coronation March of 2007.
The first elected officials were:
- Sheriff: Groan Mooncaller
- Regent: Ackyasha Stormchaser
- Chancellor: Donnovan Sunrider
- Champion: Matthew Mac Ian
These four members all bear the park title of Elder, in honor of being the first of the elected officials.

[[1]] Park meets on sunday at 1:00 at plaman park. Once you make it to the park there is a road that runs between the swimming pond and a pavilon there is a T intersection take the bottom of the T and follow it in
Wednesday
These are Arts and Sciences days where members can learn from one another in areas of performing or construction. Worth .25 credits per week.
Sunday
These are the primary meeting days of the Frost lands. Worth 1 credit per week.
Current events
This is to let everyone know that the Frostlands will be holding it's first all weekend event in a long long time!
Time: 7/20-7/22 Gate will open at noon on Friday and will be open till Saturday at 10am) Price: 15$ (this includes a feast on Saturday AND breakfast that same morning! Place:
Items of interest: AN ALL NIGHT LIT DITCH FIELD!
A GP Large (bigger then the tent at RW events...with lighting inside)
A HUGE amount of land with open Fields, paths, and many other interesting terrain to keep people on their toes.
A quest set up for teams of 5 to go through to see if they are worthy of the challenge!
Jugging for said teams to do before and after the quest.
This will be an awesome event for anyone who wishes to come! This is mostly for the Frostlands to get used to running a large event on it's own but any from out of our group are invited to come and have fun with us!
If you do plan on coming please email me before hand so we can make sure we have enough food for all (we are planning on 50 in all)
