Simple Summary	Heal: Incant "The white light of healing hath healed thee" x5 to remove target's wound
Available to	Archer, Druid, Healer, Paladin, Monk, Scout, Curios, Monster (Shroomkin, Unicorn)
Type	Verbal (Non-Offensive)
Range	5ft (Any) - Druid, Healer, Paladin, Monk, Scout, Curios 5ft (Other) - Unicorn Self - Archer
Incantation	"The white light of healing hath healed thee" x5
Effects	Immediate Effect: Target restores a wound.

Trivia

• Heal was introduced in Amtgard V1 (1983).


• Heal had a long reputation for being an essential beginner ability with a very long and complex incantation. The incantation for Heal from V1 to V7 was:

  “Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  Let the white light of healing descend on thee.
  Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  Let the white light of healing stop thy spilling blood.
  Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  Let the white light of healing mend thy bones.
  Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  Let the white light of healing close thy wounds.
  Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  Let the white light of healing restore thy vigor.
  Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  The white light of healing hath healed thee.”

  In Amtgard V8, it was shortened to:

  “Sword Cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab,
  Let the white light of healing descend on thee.
  Let the white light of healing stop thy spilling blood.
