Blessed by the Dragons who dwell in the Tree of Power, Emerald Cove is a land where we learn to be cunning, quick, and adventurous. The Kingdom of Neverwinter is wild and untamed, and we are proud to work with our sister parks to push ourselves to new heights. Join us and inspire new legends.

History

Emerald Cove was founded in August of 2014 by James VanDyke, Akursya VanDyke, and Frykt Fate with lot of help from players like Lorin and Dark Raven. Joined The Kingdom of Neverwinter on January 31st 2015. Emerald Cove was a chapter that started in Savannah, GA, but moved to Hinesville, GA and bloomed fast. Since then we have had people involved at every level of Amtgard including kingdom, lots of travel, knighthood, and more.

Our Story

The area began as a settlement in some old ruins, and mostly was settled by Vikings and Irish folks from the Old Country. As the magic of life ran through the area again, a deal was struck to protect the dragons and their sacred tree. The tree eventually moved to the Merchant district through the efforts of the Monarchy and Adventurers. It is now protected within the walls, and much easier for the dragons to use as a roost now that it has become so titanic. There are always new and old things to discover in Emerald Cove, and new adventures to be had.

The town consists of the Keep (Main) District, the Central District, Merchant District, East and West Gate Districts. There are also ruins and tunnels beneath the town. The Training Grounds containing the new Guild Hall are also considered part of town, though they’re outlying. Farmlands are also considered part of the territory.

In addition, there are outlying lands. The first, of course, are the Emerald Mines. The forest, the cemetery, the forbidden forest, the swamps (and lizardfolk village), the lost temple, the fallen temple, and the rocky plateau and falls make up the area near the town. The mountains, caves, and sand ruins are also a part of the territory, though they are encroaching on the territory of others. We have a few outposts in those outlying areas, but the Viking docks are the one most in use.

There are also a few underwater areas, including the home of each of the main races, the Merfolk, allied with the town, the Sirens, their enemies, and the Aquatic Elves who are mostly neutral but have a loose cooperation with us, and an underwater temple which connects through the town tunnels.--In the sea--Rainbow serpent lindworm also has a den.
