- If this color is on an arrow head or a strip tied to an Arrow it indicates an Armor-piercing Arrow.
- Under the 6.0 rules this color indicated a Warrior or Warrior Improve but now both are marked by Purple strips.
- Blue is the color associated with a 2nd level order of the warrior.
- In Heraldry Light blue is called "Celestria", and Dark blue is called Azure.
- In Medieval Europe Azure or blue was thought to signify loyalty and truth.
