Held
Anything carried using one or more hands is considered Held.
Free Hand
Also known as an 'Open Hand'. Some game rules may require a Free Hand in order to perform an action or carry an object. For these purposes, a Free Hand is a hand that is not holding any equipment. A hand cannot be considered a Free Hand for more than one purpose at a time.
