Heraldry
History
Windmoor Crossing was originally a Shire of the Golden Plains based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, and was founded by Brock Argenta, Glavas Zorallo and Areth Nar, after determining that Amtgard still existing outside the group that they had been playing with since 1984. The Shire was sponsored by King Bag'em. They also discovered that the Emerald Hills had a sponsored shire in Indianapolis, that being Lyon’s Tomb. The two parks later merged, and founded the Barony of the Rising Winds.
The legacy of this original park of the pre-Rising Winds continues within the name of the Windmoorian Guard.
Unfortunately this group existed before the ORK and no online records of it survive.
