History
Storm Hills was founded by Kabe Rinnaul and Cymond of Nowhere Mountains during the summer while home from college. The group had decent attendance for a startup shire, averaging around 6-8 each meeting, but because most members were home for the summer and attended college elsewhere, the shire essentially died in August until reforming the next May. The shire lasted two summers this way, before scheduling conflicts prevented the 2007 season from coming together.
The name comes from the fact that the group played in heavy rains and thunderstorms for five of the first six meetings.
