Song of Power
Available to	Bard
Type	Verbal (Non-Offensive)
Range	Self
Incantation	“I sing a song of power”
Chant	“Song of Power” OR the caster may perform.
Prerequisites	This ability can only be used while Resting.
Effects	Chant Effect: Other players that begin and end a Rest within 20ft of the caster have their required Rest times reduced by half for all abilities except Confidence, Innate, and Revitalize. This effect ends when the caster stops chanting or resting.
Other Details	This ability does not affect the caster’s Rest timers. Casting this ability and maintaining its chant does not end Rest. If the caster chooses to perform, their performance is the chant and must meet all the requirements for chants. The caster must also do their best to avoid confusion on the battlefield by declaring that they are using Song of Power to potential aggressors or anyone who might be confused. It should be clear whether someone is performing for Song of Power or just for the fun of it. If Song of Power ends while other players are resting, their required Rest times revert to their normal Rest value. A player can only benefit from a single Song of Power at a time.
