It was Silverwater Coronation, and there was a Jugging match going on.
Torg Wolfsbane got stunned out of bounds and came back two stones early. Bishop questioned him on his count, and he repeated when he was stunned, not realizing that the difference was short. Bishop pointed this out, then added something about Torg being a product of public education. Torg got in his face and asked Bishop to repeat that. Bishop quite clearly repeated the statement, at which point Torg slugged him on the jaw, knocking Bishop unconscious. Torg froze for about 2-3 seconds. Said, "why did he make me do that?", turned, walked to his car without his weapons, got in, drove off, and never returned to Amtgard.
Bishop eventually sat up and sat on the jugging field for almost half an hour, saying nothing, then suddenly asked what had happened. He had no memory of it. Not even the taunt. When what he said was explained, he took some solace in at least it was a good taunt. He never really brought it up again, but still has no memory of it whatsoever.
